Rent Pursuant to Owner/Municipality requirements, the initial rents for each unit are below and include a utility allowance. Rents are adjusted annually and rents are subject to increase accordingly. Tenants are responsible for paying all utilities. The initial rents are set as follows:

The Long Island Housing Partnership (LIHP), in cooperation with Fairfield Townhouses at Selden LLC (the “Owner”), is pleased to announce that it is accepting First-Come, First-Served Applications for affordable one 2-bedroom rental unit (the “Affordable Units”) in Selden, New York. The Affordable Units are part of a larger rental complex known as “Fairfield Townhouses”.
The complex contains 126 units overall with 32 units being the Affordable Units. The complex is a gated luxury rental community spacious in design featuring open floor plans, high ceilings, oversized windows for ample natural light and elegant finishes such as plank tile floors, quartz countertops paired with stainless appliances including washer/dryer. The community offers amenities such as outdoor swimming pool, clubhouse with planned fitness center and a revolutionary war historic memorial on site..
One 2-bedroom is available to households earning up to 120% of the HUD Area Median Income (AMI), as applicable.
Eligibility for the Program involves a five-step process.
| STEP 1: | Applicant submits a First-Come, First-Served Application to LIHP |
| STEP 2: | Once your ranking number is reached, LIHP will forward the First-Come First-Served Application to Owner |
| STEP 3: | Owner conducts a credit/minimum income/background review |
| STEP 4: | If approved by Owner, applicants submits a Formal Program Application, together with required documentation, to LIHP |
| STEP 5: | If eligible, applicant works directly with Owner for lease-up |
