Fair Housing Information
LIHP offers education, professional training, and technical assistance to realtors, the Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR), government officials, planning and zoning officials, and developers.
Participants in LIHP’s housing counseling programs are provided with information regarding fair housing and their rights and protections under federal laws.
Community trainings are ongoing and offer fair housing educational opportunities to residents in low- and middle-income communities—particularly those most affected by poverty and discrimination.
