The Town of North Hempstead Community Development Agency (CDA) in cooperation with the Long Island Housing Partnership Inc. (LIHP), a not for profit housing agency, is soliciting responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified general contractors who can successfully construct and/or rehabilitate single family homes on sites owned by CDA in the community of Westbury, Nassau County, NY. Three new single family homes are to be constructed and one single family home will be substantially rehabilitated through this program.

The CDA and LIHP seek a developer(s) who is experienced in single family housing construction, housing rehabilitation and local building codes and is able to work cooperatively with CDA and LIHP staff. All RFP's are due in hand no later than 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at LIHP's office in Hauppauge, NY.
